Poster design / Two pieces
Posters
Two posters, two very different briefs: a self-portrait built from the number 73, and a three-colour series on watch maintenance.
Poster 73
Framed, on the wallSingle sheet · black on black
Poster 73
Self-portrait · one sheet
Poster 73 is built on the idea of reflecting others. The prime number 73 mirrors the prime number 37. Written in binary, 1001001, it reads the same in both directions. The hand picking up the pen stands for reflecting the world back.
The piece is set black on black, with the numerals cut through by the hand and a row of moon phases across the top as one more mirrored sequence.
Watch Maintenance
Series of three · red, green, blue
A set of three posters on the care of mechanical watches, one per colour, designed to hang together in a shop window. Each sheet pairs a large watch face with a column of Roman numerals and a short block of copy, so the series reads as one system from across the street and as three separate sheets up close.
